Gotta wear shades

Like people, the world over I went out and bought a lottery ticket and won 32 million dollars. No, Really, I was laid off of work the end of March. I spend forever looking for more work to do; And, existing on half of what I used to make. While there is no more money to go around and get some more work. I am lame, And I suck. No, really, it's been kind of funky, living you know. Unemployment, near poverty, Yeah, it is not all it is cracked up to be. I just now returned to the Holy Mass after over a month's time. I just am unsure of life and how it will all work out; But, I do know it, will. Work out, that is. It would be nice to win the lottery, A temporary solution to some of my problems, I reckon. I spend my days writing, surfing the internet looking for a place, that is EVEN TAKING applications? Yeh, it is for sure, The world has problems. I've taken to watching Saturday Night Live, once more. Yay, it makes me laugh so damn hard. I don't get my eyebrows done as often. My diet of course, has changed. But, at least I get to eat. I am reminded when I go to the Holy Mass where in the afternoon hours they have a soup kitchen. People are lined up, all but around the block. I am grateful for what I have. I am. I love, to half way listen to morning tv while looking for work and waiting for someone to call from the several hundereds of resumes I've sent out. And, the phone does not ring. Eh, what are you going to do? I went outside a moment ago to smoke a cigarette for the first time in quite awhile. The nighttime sky was beautiful with it's brilliant starlight. I just found myself thinking, I might be down; But, I am not out. There ain't no where to go but up. I've quit drinking beers for awhile, So I can keep some semblance of a level head. That is nice. I am back to watching David Letterman, I love that goofy old man. I do. He always makes me laugh outloud. Since, I've always worked it's been a long time since I've wanted to watch something on the tv. I do have a very nice tv. One my dad left to me; It is a freaking big tv. I love to watch the news and cannot wait till basketball season starts back up. I've lived here in Portland Oregon long enough I am a Trailblazers fan. On the list of things I will buy once I get to making money again is, Blazer jerseys. One for Fernandez, Roy, Pryzbilla and have to have one to shout out at Greg Oden #52. Right on. They are all good and great players. I look forward to the upcoming season. Because, I will get a good paying job, make money to pay bills, shape and wax my eyebrows, buy my favorite Victoria Secret body spray and I will try my damndest to make it to a few of those Blazer games. The futures so bright I gotta wear shades. Cheesy or what? Tomorrow it is back to my home church across the street. I look forward to that too. I already made a good confession, I'm all good to get back into the game of life. I've taken to watching The Biggest Loser in my unemployment time. I am not much on ridiculous stupid reality shows. It makes no sense to watch reality tv. People watch the television to escape and fade out. Why watch real people be real jerks? But, the Biggest Loser was great and inspiring to me. Yay, Mike you got nothing to be sorry about you and your dad, Ron were great! I just loved, the 'old guys' who won in the Biggest Loser. Talk about a shot in the arm. I neglect this blog, there are not a lot of folks I know nor follow, Either myself. One guy I knew and follwed. We were Yahoo refugees. But, he just sort of fell off of the face of posting? Rats, I really enjoyed his posts too. Chris, Oh Chris where did you go to? I loved your letters to the world?! Whereever you went to I hope you are well and life is being good to you. Well, love to my invisible and silent audience. I mighe be only talking to myself, Here. But, ah whattareya going to do?
