I am in love with you so
and you just don't believe in me
Your unbelief, always leaving me.....
unsettled, unsure...wrapped up and feeling insecure.
You've reached into my soul, and touched my tender-crimson red-vibrant heart
where living gets it's only start. I need you close to me, close by and seeing into me
and when dare we try to be together for far too long
the world around us rears it's ugly head, roars and breathes out fire. It burns the world to ashes
leaving cold-simmering coals.....where once there was a fire of love, a fire of desire a fire unknown, unmatched nary to be overgrown.
Because I believed one time and one day you used to care for me
Be fond of me.
The look inside your eye has changed.
I don't see myself in the reflection of light within your eyes, any more. You've abandoned me--left me cold. Left me alone.
As quick as any man could drop a hot stone.
I think I am fond of you; I think I care and hold a chamber closed--Set aside, for your dwelling alone. Ah yes I do, although it echoes in it's onliness....lonliness and emptiness
because you've gone. You've left. You walked away....and I loved you so; and you don't believe in me.
Your unbelief
leaving
me.
Love and all of it's glorious mystery....Love cannot ever be recalled, without walking into our own; or someone else's history.
I am sitting alone, under a night time sky. Looking and glancing--straining with my heart's unknowing eye. Trying to see, to peek into a future.
The moon looks down on me; taking pity upon such a girl who thinks she might know any type or kind of love. The moon smiling, looking down upon me, from the heavens far, and high above.
I sit, and wait and wonder. Ponder, ask and dare to dream...that one man who thinks he feels or might or could know a love like mine.
And, to love so freely-openly-devoutly is to place your heart on the chopping block daily.
Does he love me really-truly can he be faithful to one foolish girl who must and can and does come and go....
I am waiting under the nighttime sky....looking toward the heavenly sky...waiting on the smiling moon to tell me a story. Tell me a tale. Tell me a fable, tragedy
or share a poem
Tell me something that will make me want to go home. Return, to the place, to the man who thinks he could and might and will love such a girl.
Such a girl as me.
The moon in all it's wisdom looking down, smiling down, calling down.
Will the heavens be merciful, could the stars and natures powerful great and grand hand..stir, move and lift and raise the tides, blow the winds and bend it's constellation....so
there could be love.
There could be warmth
there could be fidelity
there could be lifetime friendship
comfort
Where there could be one; where there had been two.
Is that what the moon could do?
I wait on the full face of a moon in it's age and wisdom. To tell me a story, tell me a fable and tale. Recite a poem, or tragedy.
Tell me, of the man,
who could love such a girl.
Such a girl as me.
